We are committed to helping the community stay safe and healthy during this uncertain and rapidly changing time. Our clinic (like all local small businesses) has changed drastically this past week. Currently:
We have our doctors available for sight-threatening emergencies. Our clinic can be reached by phone (705-759-1985 option 1) or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. For the next day or two, email will provide a faster response time. With limited staff - we have not been able to keep up with the voicemails.
Our clinic hours are currently 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Patients are advised to make an appointment and go through the screening questionnaire prior to being able to enter the clinic and be seen by a doctor. Our doors are not open to the public during this time and you may find the office door locked during these hours while we provide the safest environment for patients and doctors.
For any contact lens and spectacle orders currently in office : we are working on a solution to get these to you via contactless delivery. More details will be available in the next day. Whether this is a local delivery or via Canada post - we will let you know ASAP.
For any new contact lens orders - they will be directly shipped to you with NO SHIPPING CHARGES. Please visit our contact lens order request form for ALL our contact lens prices and to submit a request. Requests will be ordered next business day.
If you are not a current patient of ours but would like to order contacts - please just email a copy of your current contact lens prescription to email@example.com
Our optical dispensary is closed. We are unable to guarantee to be able to repair any frames. We are unable to cut any lenses or order any new prescriptions as our supplier in Hamilton has closed for the time being. We will do our best to help you if you need it- please send an email (pictures are always appreciated).
Please stay home. If you must go out - be sure to practice social distancing. Make sure you are washing your hands - soap & warm water for at least 20 seconds.
Remember to check in (via text, phone calls or Facetime) on family, friends and neighbours over the next little while, especially those who are elderly or live alone.
Our individual actions in the next two weeks will have a direct effect on where our community will be in two months.
